Holidays + Graduation ^_^

Recently

Sweet crap, I totally forgot about my blog until Alvin (Chang, from St. Mike Sdk) reminded me yesterday. God bless that boy!

Well recently it has just been games galore...but mostly DotA and HoN. I suppose it makes sense that I forgot about my blog since I usually work on it at night and lately I've been gaming at night.

Besides that, SAM + IS + Dip Yr. 3 recently graduated! As awesome as it is to graduate, it's even more awesome to be able to sleep as late as I want and hang out with buddies as much as I want.

Random Stuff

You know, drunk people are awesome. "Why?" - some of you may ask. Well, it's because they just say and do stupid things. I really wonder what they see and hear sometimes. I find it interesting that they can mistake me for three different people within five minutes.

Only One Paper Left! ^_^

Recently

Exams Part 2 – We had two papers back-to-back this week. IT was on Monday and Economics on the next. I think I did alright for both in the earlier sections of the question paper but I’m not very confident about my essays. Although I wrote practically almost everything I know and understand that relates to the essay questions, I fear that somehow the examiner will just decide to give lousy marks for them. In any case, nothing can be done about it now.

Accounting is the final paper. For once, I’m actually looking forward to it. Once that’s over with it’ll be freedom till February!

Exams, Movies, Worries

Recently

The external exams have begun…so far we’ve only had two papers; English and Legal. I think I did my best for both…when I left the examination hall I realized I left a couple of things out but I’m pretty sure I won’t fail.

“Losers quit as soon as they fail. Winners fail until they succeed.”

I watched Michael Jackson’s This Is It movie the other day. In all honesty, it was like watching a concert on a really big screen. It’s sad that all the preparation was for naught. Well, there’s supposed to be a sequel in the works so we’ll get to see more of the King of Pop sometime soon.

Wookay…this movie was weird. It was um, creepy but not terrifying. It was interesting and yet somehow dull??? I know it doesn’t make much sense so let’s just stick with weird. Go watch it in the cinema. Don’t buy a DVD cause I doubt you’ll watch it more than once. For more comments visit my buddy's blog ---> http://nik3justdoit.blogspot.com/

You know, I have yet to receive any updates on the Dell laptop I ordered and this worries me. For one, more than 7.5k has been paid and the damn thing hasn’t even gone into production yet. I understand that the factories in Penang are slightly delayed with all the recent happenings but still, 5 working days and not even an order confirmation? I REALLY hope that nothing goes wrong man…

As Exams Approach, It's Time for Change

Recently

The study leave has been less than productive. I’ve done some revision but mostly it has still been that same burnt out feeling. It’s like I just can’t study. Even when I try I’m barely able to stay focused. Recent events have not aided in motivating me either so that’s more awesome stuff to think about…

The external examination for SAM officially starts tomorrow and I predict mediocre results at the end of it all.

Either way, best of luck to my fellow SAM mates!

Randomness

I nearly lost my house keys the other day. I was panicking for about 5 minutes before I it hit me that I may have just dropped it in Ash’s car. True enough, I did. Thankfully Ash was able to quickly drive back and give me back my keys. I owe him a drink for that.

The new laptop has been ordered from Dell. ETA is 8 to 12 working days. The tech specs for this new one is beyond awesome. I’ll post up details when it arrives.

Post Trial, VB Stress =.=

Updates

Monday

Wookay…back after the trials…

We got our legal back today…it wasn’t too bad la. I scored 77 out of 100…my essays were still lacking it seems…

And so the IT coding continues…still can’t get the damned thing to work properly. It went from being able to load the question to not at all. So cilaka…

Tuesday

Wookay…day two of coding madness…

We got Accounts back today…I only got 62 out of 100…apparently my calculations and shit need work…

Jay’s ESL work seems to be coming along great. Hopefully it stays that way and we can get it over with soon.

IT is still annoying as hell. You know those help topics in the software? They suck…all the bullshit they tell you and not a single screenshot…cilaka

Wednesday

Wookay…Jay’s ESL completed!

At long last, Jay’s ESL has been completed and he is scheduled to conduct his tutorial tomorrow. Finally…

We had Accounting drills today…doing the Inc. Statement and Bal. Sheets…I’m improving but I still make careless mistakes here and there…getting better but still confused in certain areas…

Aiyaya…IT still lousy like shit…I’m starting to think that I’m going to get the bulk of my marks from the documentation and not the program itself…

Thursday

Wookay…Jay’s tutorial…

Okay, so it wasn’t the best tutorial in the world but hey, it wasn’t bad. He had trouble elaborating and didn’t speak very clearly…anyway; at least he did his best.

After school we all headed to e-city for some gaming…we satu kampung played…awesome stuff…

The night was spent at casa Vanar doing the VB thing…the program is still full or errors and shit…Vishall called his cousin Alvin to help him out but then Alvin helped him too well…in all honesty, it would never pass off as his own work…well, he still has time to tweak it so we shall see…

Friday

Wookay…IT day…

Finally finished the bloody VB project…it still doesn’t work properly but hey, perfection was never the aim…it would’ve been nice but too bad…

We attacked casa Vanar once more…had a FIFA game with Ash…he scored the goals for both teams…not bad la…3 – 2…not a big loss…

Saturday

Wookay…an uneventful day at home…

Originally, there were plans to go out to play and jalan and makan and stuff…but somehow, everything went wrong so in the end, at home saja…

Today’s News

Wookay…football day…

So the morning was pretty normal…in the afternoon the younger Vanar brother ajak’d me to go to Upperstar later during the day to watch Liverpool vs Man Utd see. I thought to myself, “Hm…why not? Maybe football would be more fun to watch with people around…”

He told me he’d pick me up by 8.00 pm…so I had a sandwich at about 6.00 just to isi perut dulu…tick tock tick tock…8.30, still belum sampai…I call him and he says, “Don’t worry! I’ll be there before 9.00…”

Oukay…tick tock tick tock…9.00…9.15…9.30…9.40 then he sampai…bagus cerita…sial…

So we watched the game…Liverpool beat Man Utd 2 – 0…the last minute goal by Liverpool during the extra time made many Man Utd fans burst out in tears I’m sure…well frankly, I don’t really care who wins or loses…it’s just a game…there will be other games so no big deal…I guess Man Utd didn’t play well…or maybe Liverpool was in top form…

Random Stuff

Cilaka ni…I’m putting on weight man…jahanam punya exams…

It has been almost a year and I’m still just driving in the bloody parking lot…how sad is that…

You know the game Heroes of Newerth? Yeah, the revamped version of DotA…well, Jay was supposed to help us get beta keys so that we could all play see…he’s been saying, “I’ll get for you…I’m just waiting for my friend to give me” Bloody asshole la his friend…3 months and nothing…sial ni…so one fine day, I got fed up with waiting and I searched for beta keys online myself…within 30 minutes, I found one for myself. But wait, it gets better…I even managed to send the link out and helped Lukas, Vishall, Ashbvin, Rajpal, Roy, Oth’niel, Low, Adam and even Jay some keys…what his cilaka punya useless and pathetic excuse for a friend failed to do in 3 months I got done in 30 minutes…beat that assclown.

Trial Exams >.<

Updates

Monday

Wookay…first day of Trials…

Subject of the day: English as Second Language

So we had the exam in our beloved room 402…it was conducted like how the actual external examination is going to be so we had our answer scripts and booklets and questions and stuff like that.

We had some trouble getting the listening CD to work at first but then after about 2 minutes Mdm. Lee figured it out. I was the first to finish the exam and the earliest to leave the room (much to my surprise…usually it’s Ash)

Hm...overall I think it went alright. I predict maybe anywhere around a low B to an A?

Tuesday

Wookay…day two of Trials…

Subject of the day: Legal Studies / Mathematical Studies

Woots~ So I’m taking Legal…I honestly didn’t expect our subject lecturers to be the invigilators during the exam of the same subject. Imagine your driving instructor being in the same room as you when you’re taking the computer test…it felt so weird man.

So anyway, I felt pretty good about the exam…the short answer questions seemed simple enough and I don’t think I misunderstood anything. I’m not so sure about my essays though…there may be some stuff lacking since I forgot to write my points down on the scribbling paper and I think I missed out like, two or three points in some parts…

Well, for this one…I would predict maybe around a C…I don’t think a B is likely but not impossible la…

Wednesday

Wookay…third day of Trials…

Subject of the day: Information Technology Studies

So it’s the subject everyone has been waiting for! Okay, not really…IT is one of the toughest subjects to study for because frankly, you don’t have a clue what to start with. You see, the textbook is like a damn encyclopedia man. It’s so fucking thick its not even funny…

The questions asked in the exams and tests are also usually more on suggestions and common stuff. Not really those in depth type of really complex programming or database type shit. It usually asks like suggestions of what kind of stuff to use to store this kind of data or like if what kind of equipment we would need to have a video conference you know.

Alright…for this one I’m going to predict say around a C or B…

Thursday

Wookay…day four of Trials…

Subject of the day: Economic Studies

The subject dreaded by all who take it (which is everyone…) I don’t remember much of what the questions wanted and shit but I do remember having a really bad headache when I left the room.

As far as I can remember, I’m pretty sure I answered most of the questions to the best of my economic knowledge (which isn’t that much…)

So for this subject I would predict probably a D or C…sad but not much can be done…

Friday

Wookay…final Trial…

Subject of the day: Accounting Studies

Alright, I’m not a fan of accounting…to be honest, I don’t like it, I don’t want to like it, I do not believe that it is necessary for me to know it…but somehow, God must’ve intended for me to learn it…and so I have (well, I’ve learnt some stuff…)

The exam felt like the trial runs we had with the pass year papers so I should think that I did alright…I didn’t finish the report though. I thought I had like 45 minutes to write the whole thing but turns out I read the clock wrong and only had 25 minutes. Shit…

And with that, my prediction shall be…hm, let’s say a D or C…

To celebrate our freedom from the trials, we (the guys la anyway…) headed to e-city for some much needed game time! It was so awesome…I think we can expect more during the weekend.

Saturday

Wookay…post-trial rest…

So in the morning I was pretty free (yay~) I watched some cartoons and had a nice breakfast…turkey ham and cheese, yes! In the words of Ash, “Like sex…it’s so good, like having an orgasm in the mouth!”

Jay came to pick me up at around noon because he needed help with assignments see. We headed on over to his new house. It’s so fucking big man…seriously, you know one of those houses you see in the movies where you have a door that is 2 feet taller than the tallest member of the family? Yeah, that kind of house. There are 3 floors man…sial ni…

Anyway his awesome house aside, it went alright. I guided him through the ESL thingy and he should be set.

I was really bored afterward so I started asking people if they wanted to go gaming ba…good old Vish and Roy were available. So, apa lagi? Game on bitches!

Today’s News

Wookay…day out…

I spent much of the day away from home…which is a big deal since I have no transport. We headed to e-city for a game but it was cut short by SESB (cilaka punya electric company…)

We ended up going to another CC to play…we got bored pretty quick so then we decided to go get something to eat. We met up with Alvin (Vish and Ash’s Cous…) at some place called “Bandu”…it’s near the city centre I think…

So we makan’d and talked shit…one and half hours and 4 extra people later, we left…that was fun…I think they’re probably going out later at night for something else but I’m not the clubbing and drinking type so jangan la…

Random Stuff

You know, I really wonder what my future is going to be like…one of the questions I often ask myself (well, one of the silly questions…) is will gaming be a part of it? I’ve always wondered if I would ever grow tired of gaming…you know, like one day just decide “Ah, malas ni…” or would it be such that gaming becomes one of my hobbies one the side? Well so far I’ve figured out that games are no longer fun when you play alone…so I would assume that if I’m ever in an environment without gaming buddies, a sudden stop wouldn’t be out of the question…

I truly believe that I’m spending too much time with Indians…I’m realized that I’ve become someone who speaks, acts and often thinks like an Indian. Rajpal described me as being more Indian than most Indians…which is um, okay I don’t know whether that’s good or bad but hey, apa boleh buat…

Also kan, I noticed that I’ve taken on some more undesirable traits and habits…it’s like, I’ll do something kan; then afterward I’d think to myself “I can’t believe I actually did/say that…that’s not like me” That scares me a little bit…that I can lose myself in such a situation…but I suppose better that I know it happened rather than to remain completely oblivious…

Week Before Trials =.=

Updates

Monday

Wookay…Happy Birthday to Monica Lai! She’s one of the tiny and bubbly girls from back in Sung Siew. I haven’t heard from her in a while but I’m pretty sure she’s doing alright…I hope that your birthday wish comes true, best of luck in your exams!

The day was without incident. None of the lecturers were in a bad mood or scolded us or shit like that. That was pretty swell of them what with our trials coming up and all that.

Our beloved John Ngui made an appearance in school today. It was short-lived but hey, at least we got to see him right? After school we headed to BK for some good food and then I tagged along with the DotA gang to e-City. I’m getting better at Call of Duty but my DotA skills seem to have deteriorated a good lot…holy crap man I suck nowadays…in the words of Mr. Jay Chang, “Your skills are like those of an old man. You have the knowledge in your head but lack the reflexes to use them properly”

Tuesday

Wookay…a lovely day…well, most of the day…

The morning was really nice…there wasn’t too much sunshine or too many clouds…the temperature was nice and there were a few breezes…

Our time in school was spent doing and discussing pass year papers. We went through some of the answers and tried to spot questions for the exams and shit like that…

At night I came online (which shocked quite a few people…God knows why) I was doing my Accounting assignment. I managed to get some advice and help from the wise and powerful Accounting wiz, Mr. Samuel Moo~

The online messenger was acting up a bit so that was a tad annoying…we have a legal test tomorrow…hopefully that one goes well…

Wednesday

Wookay…the day God cried…

Sweet mother of Abraham Lincoln’s ex-wife’s second nephew man…holy mother of all that is sweet, tasty, good and sacred in the world…the rain in the morning kan, un-fa-king-bi-li-va-bel!

Walao eh…the rain was so damn strong and violent man. It was like, God was crying or something…cilaka ni, I’m already in TTSS and I’m walking towards IS along the path kan I almost kena blow away with my umbrella. So sial…my umbrella turned inside out just as I was crossing the small road.

I cut my finger while fixing my umbrella…so shit. I had to go to the canteen to buy a plaster ba. The cool thing about it was that it had an army-camouflage print…I sakai at my own plaster.

Oh ya, the wind was so strong that the chairs in the study area and the tong sampah can move man…not just one or two inches tau, until six, seven feet man the things kena blow…then I needed my damn umbrella just to stay dry while waiting in the study area ba. WTF?!

In addition to all that crap, the entire school blacked out. Nah…itu dia.

In the darkness, I visited the canteen a grand total of four times with different people. The first round, I was there with Catherine to makan makan in the dark…second round, I was with Sam to teman him buy stuff…third round, I was with Nick Ant Chong to teman him minum minum hot chocolate…then the next round was with my fellow SAM-mates to makan makan. There was a cat there which kept bugging the girls…I had to give it some of my chicken in order to distract it.

Well, after the rain passed nothing much la…just that part only gila…

Thursday

Wookay…photo day…

The morning was so empty man…I have no idea what went wrong for the day but the place was scary empty. Some of the regulars turned up but I would say about 60% of the students were MIA…

Thankfully, I wasn’t all alone in the study area…the lovely Cat kept me company. I was trying to study for the programming test ba but then I ended up talking lots of shit. Aiya…

Our ESL period was used to do a very lame video shooting for the graduation. So fail I tell you…

Then the programming test came along and that was um, okay la it wasn’t a complete disaster. Afterward I was printing the Legal pass year paper kan, suddenly Mr. Alex stopped me saying that it was prohibited by the CEO and some shit. Adedeh…terus I had to go cari other ways to print out. I ended up being escorted by Sam to the TTSS library to print. The librarian compelled me to learn Mandarin…her words were, “You should learn Chinese! It becoming more *pause* international!”

Nanti la aunty…when I pandai sudah I come back cakap to you…

Oh ya, our class photo taking session was today. We had an awesome turnout. We practically had full attendance except for Kay Tay…everyone else, including Lukas and John showed up and wore the gowns for the photo.

Friday

Wookay…last day of school before trials…

One of the most awkward and disturbing moments of my life happened this morning…Mr. Bryan Too decided to divulge the details of a dream he had the night before. It was wrong on so many levels…imagine, being told in great detail about someone’s penis head falling off…WAT DA FAK?! Not something I want to discuss (say it like this - disgust) in the morning…

Mr. Terence was at a conference of some sort for the day so I couldn’t get any coding advice for the VB project which sucks ass…in other news, Operation Jay Chang has commenced! I’ll be in charge of preparing and guiding Jay for his ESL!!! Hopefully he’ll be able to get it done!

Rachel’s tutorial was today…yeah, that didn’t go too well…oukay that was putting it lightly. In all honesty, it was a trainwreck…what a way to end the day eh?

Saturday

Wookay…study day one…

Much of the day was spent studying at casa Vanar~

They have a nice house with a huge ass dog man and the dog is named Goliath. Talk about a name to match the size eh?

You know, I didn’t think it was possible but Ash looks drunk even when he’s just coming out of his own house…sasat man…

I also visited the famed Kassim Curry House for the first time.

Today’s News

Wookay…study day two…Happy Birthday to Carmen Wong! One of the most hardworking people you'll ever meet in your lifetime...the level of perfection to which she can complete tasks is scary seriously. Anyhoo, may you birthday wish come true and best of luck in the coming exams!

Second round at casa Vanar~

This time Adam was with us…we makan, main, study…

We even had time to make a teleportation video. That was awesome shit.

Random Stuff

I noticed that a lot of the Australian Us are messed up shits…imagine this, to get into a Law course you need a 95% average…an Accounting course has a requirement of 95%...Economics pula 90%...but wait, get this – Medicine only has a requirement of 84%...WAT DA FA-KING SHIT?! No wait…English paling kick…no need score even. Just an interview…tu dia…

Thought of the Day
